The Story of PM – Pontos Mágicos®

PM – Pontos Mágicos® was born from a passion for sewing, the courage to start again, and the union of two people who found in craftsmanship a way to create meaningful pieces. Here, every item is made with intention, technique and soul — because we believe that craftsmanship is more than a trade; it is a way of living.

How It All Began

The brand began with Paula, who discovered in sewing her true vocation. After a life marked by hard work, Paula found in creative sewing a place of expression, freedom and personal fulfillment.

Over more than a decade dedicated to creative sewing, she specialised in garment making, customization and embroidery, completing a professional seamstress and dressmaking course. Her work evolved, grew, and became the registered brand PM – Pontos Mágicos®.
Today, she is a certified artisan with an official Artisan Certificate (Carta de Artesã) and holds the national “Portugal Sou Eu” seal, recognising the value of Portuguese craftsmanship.

Costura Criativa – The Creative Sewing Line

From Paula’s journey, the first line of the brand was born: Costura Criativa.
A collection that brings together leather, cotton and synthetic materials to create practical, modern pieces designed for everyday life. Machine stitching allows technical precision, lightness and versatility, resulting in functional accessories for families, professionals and children.

Costura Criativa grew, delighted customers, and became the foundation of the PM – Pontos Mágicos® universe.

The Birth of the by Thierry Line

In 2022, Paula encouraged her husband, Tiago Martins, to try sewing when he wanted a handmade leather wallet — and that invitation changed everything.
Born in France, where he was known as Thierry, Tiago fell in love with leather and the traditional techniques of hand stitching.

From his dedication, patience and precision came the Couro Artesanal – by Thierry line, named after the childhood identity that shaped him. Today it represents exclusive leather pieces crafted stitch by stitch, with time and intention.

Sustainability in Leather Craft

The by Thierry line follows a deeply sustainable philosophy.

All leather used comes from the food industry — never produced specifically for leather goods. It is a noble material that deserves a second life, and here it becomes pieces meant to last for decades.

Production is fully manual, with:

  • no industrial waste

  • no machine energy consumption

  • careful use of every centimeter of leather

  • small-batch creation focused on quality

Genuine leather, being durable, repairable and evolving beautifully over time, is a sustainable alternative to disposable consumption. Each piece is made to accompany your story — not to be replaced every year.

Costura Criativa — practical, versatile and contemporary. Machine-stitched pieces for everyday use, families and children, filled with colour, utility and creativity.
Couro Artesanal (by Thierry) — exclusive, timeless and meticulous. Natural leather pieces hand-stitched by Tiago (Thierry), made to last a lifetime.
